The InnoExtractor is a free program that is designed to extract files from a number of hard drives and the likes, but it does not go as far as re-installing your operating system. This is not entirely true - you can install applications without reinstalling them; you just need to take the steps to keep your system safe by installing it in a location that it should be able to run on its own. If you are someone who likes to re-install their OS to ensure their application to function as expected, the InnoExtractor has a feature that will prevent this. It does this by recording a backup copy of your operating system before you install it, then deleting the original one once the installation is complete.
Now, you may say that you don't need to install a second copy of the OS, and it is very well possible for you to delete the original one. What you should do instead is to let the program run, then choose "Scrape" from the menu, and "Convert.exe". This will create a file called ".PRN". You will then save this file onto a removable device, such as a USB flash drive, and then use that to restore your system. You then have to choose "Restore" from the main menu and select the new ".PRN" file, this time to start your computer, which will prompt you to run the InnoExtractor again.
The program will then scan your computer for any hidden issues, allowing you to click the "Repair damaged Windows components" option, making Windows function properly once more. If you want to use this service without having to do any work yourself, you should go to the Internet and download a copy of the .PRN file. A website called File Hoard offers the tool, which is called the "Ultimate Recovery Guide", to help with your recovery needs, as well as providing information on how to uninstall other programs.
